The 31 GLBT History Month Icons, living or dead, are selected for their achievements in their field of endeavor, their status as a national hero, or their significant contribution to GLBT civil rights.

Today's Icon is B.D. Wong. B.D. Wong is an award-winning actor best known for his television roles on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Oz," and his Broadway debut in "M. Butterfly."
