The 31 GLBT History Month Icons, living or dead, are selected for their achievements in their field of endeavor, their status as a national hero, or their significant contribution to GLBT civil rights.

Today's Icon is Jerome Robbins. Jerome Robbins was a renowned choreographer and director. He won four Tonys, two Oscars and an Emmy. He was a 1981 Kennedy Center Honors recipient.
