* South Florida hate-crimes total rises, while rest of state declines - Florida Attorney General's Office report shows Broward leads state, Palm Beach County and Miami-Dade tie for second in number of reports.

* Protect Us From The Male, CVS Managers Who Support Keeping Trans Women Out Of Women's Restrooms - The CVS Pharmacy manager in Gainesville who allegedly admitted Friday to filming women in his store's bathroom was an active participant in the 2008 charter amendment to "keep men out of women's restrooms."

* JASMYN honors companies that make a difference for lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender employees - The Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network, based in Riverside, recognized companies this month that promote diversity, equality and safe spaces in the workplace and for area youths.

* 'Every Child Deserves a Family Act' Introduced - Congressman Pete Stark of California has proposed a federal bill, which if enacted into law, would deny funding to states that pass bills banning adoption by gay, transgender, or unmarried heterosexual parents. The bill, H.R. 3827, is called the 'Every Child Deserves a Family Act'.
