On Monday, October 27, actor Matt Damon will participate in a March for Change on South Beach, beginning at Collins Park, 2100 Collins Avenue, and ending at the Early Vote Location at Miami Beach City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive.
This is one of 27 Marches for Change taking place throughout the state to encourage South Florida's GLBT voters and residents statewide to early vote.
These 27 marches, from Gadsden County to Miami-Dade, will bring together Floridians to early vote on October 27th, in recognition of the unique impact that Florida's 27 electoral votes could have in determining the next President of the United States.
Early voting in Florida began Monday, October 20 and continues through Saturday, November 1. (A few counties remain open on Sunday, November 2.) All voters are permitted to vote at any of the designated early voting locations in their county, regardless of where they live. For specific voting times and locations, visit www.voteforchange.com.
