The Absurdity of Amendment 2

We all know Florida's Amendment 2, the deceptively named "marriage protection" amendment, is no laughing matter. republicans_gaymarriage.gifIt is dangerous- it will strip away domestic partnerships, weaken domestic violence laws, and take away the existing rights and benefits from all unmarried Floridians, including the LGBT community.

Well, the good folks over at Progress Florida have collected some of the best political cartoons on "marriage protection" from around the country and opened an on-line gallery to show just how absurd and dangerous this amendment is.
